“Just the Way You Are”
by Miss Katie Sings
In a society that pushes people to look for acceptance outside of themselves, Just the Way You Are supports children in building a radical foundation of self-love.
Through strong lyrics and soothing melodies, this album helps kids confidently turn inward, treat their body as a friend, and celebrate all of who they are.

About Miss Katie Sings
Miss Katie Sings is an Asian American songwriter, performer, and media-maker based in Chicago. Her thoughtful demeanor and soothing voice led to her rise in popularity through the pandemic. Likened to Mister Rogers by TODAY, her mindful songs have been a comfort for both children and adults alike.
Her calming disposition has led to success on Yoto, where Miss Katie Sings’ musical storytelling series “Singalong Stories” have become popular cards. She also co-writes a show on Hatch called “Goodnight, Starlight” where she sings and voices the titular character.
Miss Katie Sings also composes for youth theatre. Her song, "Little Seeds", from the forest play, "In The Grove", was featured at the national conference for TYA/USA (Theatre for Young Audiences/USA) as part of a selective showcase.
In addition to creating new songs and videos, Miss Katie Sings performs across the US and virtually for a global audience. She believes strongly in the power of music as a way to connect — with ourselves, our community, and a kinder, better world.
